Good location and close to all the attractions
Great location and very helpful staff. Rooms were good although the air conditioning was noisy and not very effective

Great place to stay with kids
We booked 2 rooms for a group of 5. We came before check in and dropped our bags off. I asked if our rooms were close together and was told the were on different floors, I wasn't too worried. When we returned and collected out room keys we found that they had been able to find us two rooms together which was fabulous. It was a great area to stay with children as it wasn't near any of the more 'interesting' parts of Amsterdam but still close enough to the city to walk everywhere.

Nice hotel in good location
Second time staying here in Amsterdam. Staff friendly enough. Well situated hotel, main sites are within walking distance. Clean, spacious room, which was well equipped. Only downside was the pillows... they were square and too thick. My parnter was ok with them as he normally sleeps on 2 pillows. But as I sleep with 1 normally it was too thick for me. So I ended up sleeping on my jumper. Other than that, it was a nice hotel for a good price!

I've stayed at Leonardo Hotels in Europe a couple other locations and they tend to be clean, smart and in great locations. The Leonardo City Center Amsterdam are all the above but the rooms are fairly dated although very clean. The common areas are all very nice and inviting. I do want to send a well deserved shout out to their staff whom are all personable, welcoming and accommodating. I'd definitely stay there again but it's not quite as 'chic' as the others I've used.

Good Hotel
Hotel was lovely, modern in the main entrance and reception area and basic but clean and modern rooms. Asked for a queen bed and got two singles pushed together but this was advised that queen beds cannot be guaranteed so no issues with that. Bathroom was nice, shower area quite small and the room was quite dark as the spotlights didn’t give a great deal of light. Location was great, about 20 mins from the airport in an Uber (costs between £20-£30) and can walk to the main tourist area within around 20-30 minutes (there’s lots to see on the way to the centre of Amsterdam so it’s a nice walk.) Only issue was how thin the walls are - we had a lie in the morning after arriving as we got to the hotel quite late, and we were woken up by the cleaners in the room next to us as all we could hear was banging (assuming this was the beds being moved as they were on runners). The cleaner knocked on our door afterwards and was fine when I said we didn’t need the room cleaning as we’d only slept in it for one night. Other than that a really good stay and a lovely hotel!
