This property is very well situated in Mitte, steps away from sights like Museuminsel, the Berlin Cathedral and the Humboldt Forum. Staff were friendly and efficient at check in. The property is very attractive and room will designed and spacious. An excellent base for exploring Berlin.

Generally good hotel in a great location. However, we had no housekeeping on one day and had to ask on another. The bar staff in one night didn’t appear to know what they were doing

Loved it. The sauna/pool/spa area was a real treat. Clean and beautiful. Only complaint is some noise from the courtyard at night and view into office buildings (many people at desks looking into our room) which is a little awkward and prompted me to keep the windows and drapes closed.

The hotel was the PERFECT location and had all of the amenities we needed. We included breakfast and it was an excellent buffet with also an option to order breakfast too. The only let down is that the weather was very warm when we were in Berlin, the air conditioning was the best as we were up at night overheating!

Clean and modern and amazing

One of the nicest hotels I’ve been at. Impeccably clean with amazing service. The sauna & pool area was a huge plus! Like a mini Nordik spa experience, included. But saunas were off in the morning which was disappointing for my planned round 2. Very comfortable beds also. The lounge and work areas in the common spaces are outstanding… would be amazing for business travellers. My only complaint was that it was a bit loud facing out into the courtyard with people talking loudly at night (had to close windows) and those rooms face an office building with people at desks looking into your room so have to keep drapes closed.

Great location and lovely refurb.

This is a lovely hotel just reopened following the refurb after the infamous aquarium in the centre of the hotel shattered a few years ago. Must say the refurb is lovely (the aquarium replaced by a central column). The staff were great and professional and really looked after us. There were a couple of teething problems with the room tv and phone but soon resolved. Breakfast is lovely and the egg dishes off the a la carte are highly recommended! The location is ideal...right in the centre overlooking the Cathedral, 2 min walk from the tv tower and 15 min walk to the Brendanberg gate.

Great hotel, friendly staff. Many thanks to Shadeen and Penelope at the reception desk for being professional, attentive and kind. Hotel looks great, modern and upbeat. The atmosphere and ambiance at the lobby is great. Room was a bit small for my taste. A/C can be improved. Glasses in the room and the bathroom need to be placed on a paper pad, which was not there (?). There was a bird droppings on my window which I asked to be cleaned and I am sure the reception desk made a note, but the maintenance staff did not bother to do it. The location is great, right beside the river, cathedral and many sightseeings. The breakfast was great with good quality. There should be some movie and entertainment channels to be added to the tv. Overall, I would stay again at this hotel. Thanks again to Shadeen for upgrading my room.

This hotel is in the middle of everything. Across from the Cathedral, Humboldt forum and museum island. The hotel is above the DDR museum right on the waterway. Cannot beat this location. The aquarium in the lobby is part of SeaLife and you can purchase a ticket at SeaLife to ride inside. The hotel resturant is very good for their breakfast or lunch/dinner.
