Gone downhill....Will not return
We typically stay at the YVE once yearly prior to a cruise- this year will be our last. Im not sure if the staff elevators were down- but the elevators to begin with are very tiny, and the entire time were full of staff with large cleaning bins etc. We waited over 20 mins to just get an elevator- and even still had to take several trips as the luggage wouldn't fit. The restaurant here is still awful- husband was served spoiled steak and my chicken was so tough I didn't bother to even eat it.
The Last straw- we paid extra money to check in early (even though our room was ready and they could have just checked us in for free)- i did this so that the toddler could get put down for nap on the pull out couch. There was no bedding for the couch anywhere in the room- I had to call down to the front three seperate times to get someone to come up to make the bed (I was more than happy to make it- just needed to get the sheets etc). Overall just not worth the money- we will stay down the street at the Marriot next time.
