We requested months in advance that we would have conjoined rooms or at least have rooms near each other and also let the hotel know that we would be a late check in close to midnight. They confirmed that they received our email. However, when we arrived they could only place us on different floors. They also, knowing we were together, did not tell us that you cannot get to any floor but your own with your key, so we couldn’t even get to each others’ floors! We were reserved to stay there for 2 weeks as well! That was shocking and disappointing. I had to very sternly ask that they put us on a list to at least get moved to the same floor during our stay and then confirmed again in the morning. The morning crew didn’t seem to have note of us wanting to be on the same floor, but eventually were able to move us. We also weren’t told any details at check in. I would expect a 5 star hotel front desk agent to let us know about the amenities and details at check in, but they only told us what we asked, nothing more. This is a 3 star hotel in American standards. I’ve worked at several hotels in the USA managing the front desk, so I do know what to expect service-wise and it was all just disappointing. Pool was nice, but closed too early at 8:30pm each night. Overall a good stay, but this would not be 5 stars in America.

Fair 4.0
I came to the hotel after 24 hour flight around 10:00 am. I had requested an early check-in and was hopping to get a room as soon as possible. The guest service lady at the desk was busy with other concerns than my request. She said there are rooms available but she will keep me in the room that I am in and I have to wait for it to be cleaned. I asked her to change my room if there is something ready she said to wait at the lobby. Normal check-in time is at 2:00 pm I check-in at 1:15 pm. I went to the room and the bathroom smelled so bad I was too tired to call took a shower and called later in the afternoon. No one showed up, called the next day and the maintenance came did something and called the housekeeping to do the cleanup. No one showed up and I had to do the cleaning, in matter of few hours the smell came back. Called back and so many times after that but no one came to fix the problem. I had to use the lobby bathroom as i couldn't cope with the odor. I am not sure how this hotel have such high ratting but my experience was nothing but a nightmare. I will never recommended for anyone .

Great 3 night stay! The entrance staff were amazing and check in/out counter staff were ok. On check in the staff didn’t really tell me where the elevators were or what time/floor breakfast was so I had to ask all the questions. The bedrooms were spacious but a little outdated and worn out with scratches and bumps but overall there was nothing to complain about. The amenities were sufficient and the bed was very comfortable. The swimming pool was great but no 5* level bar service. A little expensive drinks. Be careful at the swimming pool as some of the tiles are quite sharp, I had cut my finger in one of the areas. Breakfast was great, a lot to chose from. It ranges from western continental breakfasts to Chinese congee, nasi lemak, rice noodles, curry, fruits and pastries. If you miss your breakfast you can also exchange it for the lunch buffet and just pay the difference. If you are with a family or luggage, I highly recommend the hotel taxi service, they pick you up from arrivals straight to hotel and back. The service was amazing! The location was amazing, 5 min walk from Jalan Alor and right next to the main shopping centres with great food courts. The Petrona towers and KLCC garden, aquarium is also a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Overall a great stay.

Our first time to Kuala Lumpur
We chose this hotel because of its central location and distance to various attractions. We were pleased with our choice and found it very easy to get around during our 4 day stay. The hotel is across the street from a bus stop which has free city buses stopping there. We used the purple line to get to Central Market and Chinatown. The hotel is also about a 10 minute walk to a great hawker center and one reason we just might have to return...the food was amazing!! Directly across and next to the hotel is all kinds of shopping from high end stores to cheap markets. Come with an empty suitcase because it will be easy to fill!! The Twin Towers is worth the 15 minute walk to see at night!! We took a tour offered by the hotel to Batu Caves . The caves were interesting but we could not understand our English speaking tour guide. The tour makes two stops, one to a pewter factory and one to see the making of Batik cloth. Needless to say, because of those two stops it was disappointing to not have enough time at the caves. If I were to do that again, I would just take a taxi to the caves and forget the other stops. Our hotel offered prepaid taxi service to the airport which we used. But our taxi driver did not take us to the right airport. We told him exactly which airline and which airport but he still took us to the wrong one. Next time, I will just pay by the meter, maybe then we will get to the right place! The hotel did a great job of accommodating us!

Exceptional 10.0
This hotel is in a fabulous area , so much going on shopping & food are here . Monorail, KTM plus hop on hop off bus on your doorstep . You can walk through the shopping centre & go all the way to KLCC park undercover. The hotel is beautiful, food plentiful & delicious . Found all the staff were so friendly & happy to help in any way . About the only negative thing one could say but it is being very pickie is the carpet in the rooms could be freshened up. We are heading back tomorrow for another few nights .
