The Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, features 6 art galleries and a museum of natural history, and hosts exhibitions and events. It was originally a museum of natural history when it opened in 1967, but in 2011 it became the anchor of the galleries of the College of Fine Arts.

Highlights of the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art

The highlight of the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art is its 4 permanent collections. The Barrick Art Collection features modern and contemporary artworks, with many of the artists having connections to the Las Vegas area. The Barrick Cultural Collection includes natural history and cultural artefacts from the American Southwest and Central America, including a Pre-Columbian Collection.

The LVAM Collection features works from famed and important international and national artists, including many who graduated from UNLV. The Vogel Collection showcases 50 contemporary works from the Dorothy and Herbert Vogel 50x50 Collection. Rotating exhibits can be found in the East, Work Shop, West, and Centre galleries.
