One of its standout dishes is the squid rice noodle soup (xiao juan mi fen tang), made from fresh Penghu squid and bonito stick soup. A unique meal is the seafood and soymilk pot (hai xian dou jiang guo), which has sugar-free soymilk mixed with bonito soup, as well as dried shrimps, dried radish, and egg floss. The pot is boiled over low heat, and you can add clams, squid, pumpkin, and cabbage to cook together.
If you love oysters, try the blue jade oyster soup (cui yu ke ren geng) – it contains fresh oysters from Zihguan Keziliao Fishing Harbour, leeks, and tofu.
