    The Città della Scienza (City of Science) was built as part of a restoration of a large industrial area in the Bagnoli district, and is now one of the city's main attractions. The permanent exhibitions in this trove of scientific discovery include a fascinating interactive museum with exhibitions on the human body, a marine environment, insects and a planetarium. 

    The Città della Scienza also hosts temporary exhibitions as well as themed events and interactive workshops, usually on weekends. During these workshops, children and parents can discover the process of creating and interpreting works of art under the guidance of expert instructors.
