Overnight stay
Super cute super dated. No air conditioning so wouldn’t stay here in the summer but it’s perfect for end of season. Check in is at the lodge across the street. If you are looking for a budget stay this is definitely where to look

Nice and cozy
The room was small and cozy. Was good for the couple nights we stayed. Wish the toilet wouldn’t have been right next to a built out wall. Was a little uncomfortable to use.

Updated Room
Completely renovated room. Very modern but now not as functional as the original layout. Fireplace, full kitchen but no clothes cupboard or dresser.

Issue
Our stay for 1 night was not bad, but the main reason i booked this room was because of the jacuzzi. Since we had a long drive, we wanted to relax in the jacuzzi. We arrived late around 1130pm and when we tried to use the jacuzzi, the jets werent working... and the same thing happened in the morning. I had called in the mornjng to ask we could check out a bit late since we arrived late and the receptionist extended our time half hour and when i mentioned that the jets werent working he stated he might not be able to get maintenance out that quick. It wasnt really fair that we paid soo much for a room and then the jacuzzi not working..... when we checked out at 1130 i had cslled back about 15 minutes later and the receptionist said that maintenance was already in the suite working on it..... why couldnt he get them out when i had requested it?

Crandell is dependable and we have been coming there for a number of years. It could really use a refresh. Start with the deck out front and rework the rooms to make them a little more user friendly. Eg. the room we had was nice, with the fireplace and kitchenette, but the bathroom was skinny and awkward to use.

Cute place with a clean room. The building itself needs some TLC. Hallways have dirty old carpet, which is not a great first impression. We were relieved that the room itself was updated & clean. Room doors are very old and sound proofing is not very good. It does seem like they are working on renos. We were fine with our stay but like most places since Covid, prices have gone up but quality has gone down.

The hallway really needs new carpet and wall paper. It had musky smell to it. Room was good but bathroom door needed grease badly

Stairwell was very narrow and steep. Not conducive for carrying luggage up. A bait mouse trap sitting in the room does not make you feel very comfortable. Electric fireplace had been worked on and was not even assembled back together before we had the room. Assembled and an out of order sign would have appeared much better.

Beautiful setting. Just average room.
The staff are lovely, and the waterton of course is stunning. But our room was not the cleanest. You could see the dust and spiderwebs aroundbthe fans and the corners of the room. Our bed seemed old, and the two leather chairs in the room should be thrown out. They have zero support. Lightbulbs were out.
