Our stay could not have been more delightful. We had interesting and helpful conversations with the owner. Our room was spotless and comfortable. It is located within a good distance from Anchorage, and 30 minutes from Homer. Quiet and peaceful.

A Great B & B
We stayed one night. There were 3 bedrooms. We stayed in the “bear” room. We were the only guests, so we had the place to ourselves. There’s a TV downstairs and a large table. We grilled hot dogs outside and watched tv and played cards. There were many games to choose from and a kitchen well supplied with cookware, plates, cups, and silverware. There was coffee, tea and hot chocolate, too. In the morning, We had a delicious hot bacon and eggs and toast breakfast with a variety of home-made jellies and jams. We would love to stay there again.

I had a fantastic stay at Whispering Winds Bed & Breakfast. The room was just what I needed upon arriving in Alaska--clean, comfortable, spacious. The owners, Fred and Terri were great hosts. I experienced a great balance between privacy and opportunities to visit with other guests. The location is convenient for the fishing and other outdoor excursions I had booked.

This place was very nice, owners were very nice and accomaditing. The only thing i would have liked would have been a tv in the bear room for the evenings.

The owners, Fred & Terry were great! They took a lot of time to show us around the facility, and explain all amenities. The homemade breakfast was scrumptious - homemade blueberry pancakes, orange juice, toast, and bacon with homemade syrups and jellies. We spent quite a bit of time talking with them and felt at ease. We would certainly go back again, and recommend this B & B to others.

What was advertised as our cabin turned into a second floor. I have had three knee replacement surgery. It was a bit taxing.

Almost off the grid!
Rustic, comfortable, out in the country (almost off the grid place) had a nice feeling of caring people loving the place they live, sharing their love with others offered theme rooms (I picked the Fish room), great pictures and history.

A quiet location with amiable hosts and a good breakfast. One morning, we had to leave before regular breakfast was served, but we were accommodated with a good continental breakfast.

Welcoming check in and orientation. Spacious, very clean common areas, bathrooms and bedrooms. Perfect for overnight before fishing at Anchor Point. Continental breakfast provided early before departure for fishing. Host provided great advice to get ice in Soldotna prior to arrival (to pack lunch, beverages for fishing).

Hidden gem in the wilderness. It's worth the ride down the gravel road. Nicely decorated. Perfect rustic yet modern decor. Whether you're just visiting Alaska or just want to get away from it all for the weekend: this place is perfect and reasonably priced. Motorcycles use caution on gravel road: It's not that long though. :)

The owners were anxious to help in any way, they were constantly cleaning the complex. The price was right for the area and very convenient. Extremely pleased with my 5 day stay.
