We stayed one night here with our two dogs. We loved that it was dog friendly and did not have an exorbitant pet fee like most other hotels. However, like many other reviews have stated it's not as pristine as their photos. It has a grungy feel and there are sections of the hotel that a strong mold smell hits you in the face! The rooms are a little stark and echo-e. There were no dog treats or pet welcome bag like some hotels offer and I did not see any water bowls around the property.
The area is charming and there are things to do within walking distance, numerous squares, The Old Pink House, lots of restaurants, but some things like Forsyth Park are a bit of a hike.
We lucked out and got a parking spot right in front of the hotel that we only had to pay for from 8:00-5:00 daily. Because we got there at 2:00, we only paid $5.00 to park because the next morning, we left by 8:30. You pay via an app so you can add money at anytime. That saved us the $49.00 hotel parking fee.
Staff was pleasant and overall it was perfect for one night.
