Very Disappointed
I booked a last minute stay here only to arrive and find the room I booked wasn't even available. Since the stay was non refundable, I took the only room I was offered. They called it an upgrade, but I dont consider switching from a 2 queen suite to a regular king room to be an upgrade. Had to go get linens from the front desk for the sofa bed since there were none in the room. Multiple things were in need of repair (obnoxious flashing light by 2nd floor elevator, ice machine on 2nd floor, juice machine at breakfast). I would definitely look for a different place to stay next time.

Girls get away
Nice hotel, comfortable beds. Breakfast was good and so was the coffee. The kids enjoyed the pool. All of the workers were so nice too.

Too many lights
The room was pretty nice. But the window had the driveway lights of the front of the hotel shining in with only a thin shade. Ended up covering the window at midnight with the extra comforter. Not much sleep. If there was another shade, I couldn’t find one. Definitely no curtains.

Great place to stay near a college town
I’m so glad we picked this hotel. In a college town you never know what you’re going to get. The breakfast far exceeded expectations. I’d stay here again if we ever drive back through East Lansing. We had a lot of choices and I’m glad we chose this hotel. The gal who was working on breakfast was working hard to make sure everything was above grade and she was a pleasure!

The conditions of the room was poor. There was mildew in the corners of the tub. The tub drained extremely slow. The floor at the entrance was sticky. The fridge didn’t work, however the staff was very prompt in getting a working one into the room. There was no coffee maker in the room and the HVAC system was an older model that had no fan setting to circulate the stale air. Breakfast was limited in selection but tasted okay. Staff were extremely polite and friendly. Over priced for the quality of the stay.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Every employee that I spoke to was very helpful and friendly, the hotel was clean, and we had everything we needed. I want to call out Sheila, the lady who does the breakfast. She was absolutely amazing. Very funny, very helpful, even when she asked to cut my hair to make a weave!

The Breakfast was good and the Kitchen personnel was very nice. The linen was wrinkled in the bed. The shower was rusted around the handles in the shower and the tub was dirty. The TV screen was blackout and only the program could be heard. The front desk attendant would not accommodate us with a new TV or a new room. The General Manager lied about being the General Manager so she did not have to deal with us or the fact that we went without a TV all night long and in the morning.
