8/10 Very good

Great location with plenty of shops and dining just a few steps away. Fairly spartan room, but fine for our needs. The water in the room could be hotter for our tastes.

Friendly staff and nice rooms
Passepartout is a simple guesthouse without a lot of in room amenities but it makes up for it with a perfect central location and excellent service. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very accommodating when i asked for extra pillows and separate duvets. All of central Rome is walkable from this location and there's a small grocery store and breakfast place just in front along with countless bars and restaurants.

This hotel is located on the cutest small Italian street. They offer free breakfast at a place across the street. You really get a local feel of Italy. Rooms are big

This place was 10/10. Location fantastic but the best part is the accommodation itself. Large room and great facilities. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Our welcome included an induction from the staff member with a map of the best way to tackle Rome and all the hidden gems. Will only ever stay here when visiting Rome.

Great location…
The great parts: the location was just perfect. The staff was great especially Charmaine and Marvin who were very helpful. The not so great parts: the place is a bit dated, but it was okay. The main problem although is not the fault of the host, but there was a lot of construction next to our building that started around 7AM. One night in the apartment above us there was a lot happening at 4:00 AM so getting some sleep was problematic.

Overall it was lovely, however, it was a small room without a lot of storage space for suitcases, Otherwise, it was clean, tidy and central to most sites.

Very clean which is primary consideration. Great service. Smiling and helpful younger staff; very refreshing to see this and experience their sincere hospitality. Marvin spent time mapping out quick itinerary based on his experience in living there, including marking places on map to focus for day 1 of visit, then day 2 et. Invaluable that he did this for us. I would definitely recommend. FYI - the first impression is bit puzzling as there is no signage. But as we came to understand, this normal for guesthouse in Rome historic area. The positive attributes of the accommodations far outweigh this one observation.

2/10 Poor

The AC was not working. I thought I was going to die in the room. I had stayed here a week before and I was happy with the junior suite on the 4th floor. But the junior suite on the 3rd floor was horrible. The smell of urine in the room and the non functioning AC during a heat wave was unbearable. I will not stay here again.

The Perfect Oasis For An August Rome Visit
From the moment we stepped into our room at Passepartout, we were hit with a refreshing wall of cool air. Everything about the room was well designed and perfect for resting from the busy and warm streets of Rome during our August visit. The staff were thoughtful and warm, and we highly recommend staying here when visiting Rome!
