Hidden costs everywhere
The resort is lovely, although it is a fair way out of town and the shuttle is infrequent and stops at 4.30.
My main issue is the sheer level of hidden extras. A $55 resort fee that seems to cover things you would expect as part of any hotel experience namely a bottle of water and some pool towels. Worse it doesn’t include parking and you’re charged another $25 for mandatory valet parking when the car park is just a standard parking lot next to the hotel. It’s clearly just an attempt to fleece people of money and it leaves a poor taste in the mouth. So for this reason I would not recommend until they sort these issues out.

Great location and staff. Very comfortable
A lovely six night break - hotel is beautiful with an amazing location on the water with 4 good small pools and plenty of sunbeds and towels. Bar and reception staff are very nice and cleaning team does a great job. It’s a little bit out of town but that’s fine as there is a shuttle but if you want to stay local there are a few nice small family run places - one a Mexican and the other a Thai Japanese menu and both are excellent.

Relaxing in Key West
From the minute we arrived, the service was exceptional and very friendly. The property is well-cared for and has everything you could possibly want to relax and have fun. It's quiet when it should be and has awesome relaxing nooks here and there (hammocks under palm trees by the water and ocean breeze, comfy adult-only poolside lounges, or adirondack-style deck chairs on your porch surrounded by tropical vegetation and the occasional wild chicken. Loved everything about it, except having to leave!

Upon arrival the front desk clerk wasn't exactly the friendliest. Check in /out times are really inconvenient and honestly it is a rip off. They want to check in at 4:00pm and check out by 11:00.
No courteous help to carry your baggage to your room. For the price it really is lacking. Definitely would not return. Had an old mildewy smell. They charge you a weird hotel fee ($70 per day for what??) and also $25 per night to park your car. They charge you twice basically, the reservation and fake fees. Restaurant bar completely lacking. We ordered a basic burger they didn't have it. Ordered a chicken sandwich they didn't have it. Finally the waiter/bar tender recommended the beef tacos. They were not edible. Old meat saturated in salt. The waiter himself agreed once he tasted it. Simply a complete disappointment after another..
The place feels "small", old and weathered down.
No real value.

The property was beautiful. It's difficult to give a honest review. Due to tropical storm conditions from hurricane Helene we were not able to use the pools and the beach. Also, the main dining was closed due to renovations.
We booked a 3 bedroom unit . It was nice, but it was difficult to use due to some physical disabilities and age. (Steps up to front door and stairs to 2nd and 3rd floor. )
The staff were excellent. We loved the cats and chickens!
