Day in Banff
We had a family night out to Banff. Location was great. Unfortunately no parking but there is a Parkade quite literally attached to the building. Out unit was great for our family, love the bedrooms and the beds were comfortable. It would definitely be a good set up for a longer stay. I think a really good clean/upkeep check is necessary; definitely mildewing smell and one of the bathrooms smelt like old water or something super stale. They also have a warning about a cleaning fee if you don’t clean prior to leaving. I understand turning over rooms in a timely fashion but that’s hotel’s responsibility not the guests.

Perfect Place to Explore Banff
Basecamp in Banff was an incredible place to stay while exploring Banff. We booked the two bedroom suite for my wife and, our baby and my mom. It’s close to everything downtown and was the perfect place for us. Can’t recommend it enough!

Two Bed Room Apartment with Kitchen
Close to all amenities. IGA and bottle shop next door, laundromat around the corner. Right in the centre of town and near public transport. Kitchen lacked cooking equipment eg utensils, condiments, alfoil, gladwrap etc.

Great Stay
Very nice place to stay right downtown in Banff. So convenient. The staff was so nice and informative. Our only setback was the garage did not accommodate our SUV it was too tall for the low clearance, but we were able to find FREE parking about 2 blocks away in residential area.

Amazing place to stay, spacious apartment close to town. Parking at the mall was $30 per day (one entry) we made this work for us. Would definitely recommend and stay in the future.

6/10 Good

This is one of the few self catering properties in Banff and therefore you pay a high premium for it. It promised a lot but unfortunately we were disappointed with the reality. The apartments are attached to a multi-storey car park - separated only by a narrow corridor that you walk along to get to your room. It feels as if you are staying in the car park. That said, there is no allocated parking for the apartments. You have to pay the hourly or daily rate to park. The bedroom was absolutely tiny. We could barely walk around the bed because of the roof lie-in. There were hooks on the wall to hang up clothes - no wardrobe and no drawers to store clothes. Certainly no space to open or store a suitcase so everything had to be kept in the living area. We planned to have friends over for dinner but the dining table was tiny - barely big enough for 2 to have breakfast on, plus having all our luggage, walking gear etc in the living area really wasn’t conducive to entertaining. The apartment fittings and finishing looked ok from a distance but close up, the quality is clearly lacking. The hot tub is on the roof of the multi-story car park with car parking spaces all around the tub. There was red mould in the hem of the shower curtain. The area around the street door was very dirty. This property is way over-priced for what it is.

Entrance is on a side street, off the busy main. View from our 2 bd apt was amazing. We were on the go most of the day- happy to come home to couch and table to plan next adventure.

Nice stay, couple suggestions
The stay was good. The one bedroom apartment was smaller than I expected, the bathroom was tight and so was the bedroom getting around the bed. It was very well supplied and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom sink seemed to leak around the faucet because it was always wet. The rooftop hot tubs were really nice, but we wished there was a way to socialize on the roof with picnic tables, or table/chairs. Missed being able to feel the outside air unless we went all the way down 3 flights of stairs to the street. Having no central lounge or meeting room or rooftop tables was missed since we were there with other couples always trying to meet up. Everything was very clean and well taken care of.
