Lovely character hotel and stay

The hotel itself was lovely but a little tired decor wise. The bedroom was well enough equipped and the bed was actually really comfy. The staff were friendly and accomodating, and the food was lovely. The leisure club adjoined to the hotel was a nice extra, and the jacuzzi and sauna were lovely and well worth the 5 or 7 pound entry (dependant on weekday or weekend) Would happily stay again as overall it was value for money and situated within easy reach of local transport routes.

5 mins from the football ground.

Used this hotel when going to a night game at Turf Moor. (Burnley). Great location. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Clean throughout. Ideal.

Lovely hotel. Easy to find, spacious carpark, the entrance stairs/area are fantastic very welcoming. The room was comfortable with plenty of space. The staff were lovely and friendly.

Lovely clean hotel but beware the kingsize bed

Lovely check in, really pleasant staff at the hotel however the ‘ kingsize’ bed was 2 singles that zipped up in the middle, every time we moved, we rolled into the dip so had an awful night sleep. Did explain this at check out, the lovely young lady apologised which was kind but we wouldn’t stay here again in a kingsize bedroom

Very dated in places and with TLC the hotel would be amazing. Rooms are big but furnishings and fittings are tired! Shower was very poor and just a trickle. Leisure facilities in the spa were OK (small pool). Breakfast was OK. Staff were freindly and service was good. As we were leaving we were told on that day the hotel was under new ownership and about to go through a major upgrade and revamp (if done well this hotel would be amazing). It is well placed with Burnley and Nelson both within 2 miles

Hotel much nicer than some reviews say

The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and the grounds were well kept. We didn't eat there, so can't comment on that.

4/10 Fair

Very old property, more like a maze to get to your room which was old, musty and inneed of refurbishment, not good for kids more like an old folks home than a hotel.
mark, 9-night trip

Hotel has some beautiful aspects but the room we had gave off a musky smell Very old and dated grubby furniture Just needed a bit of an update

First time in Burnley Horel

Old facility that was somewhat upgraded but poorly. Floors under and behind the had heavy layer of dust Bathtub could be described as death trap as I had to hold onto side glad pane to prevent slipping Breakfast was too late;8:30am Staff were very helpful
Gerard, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Poor

Definitely not worth the money. Out dated, old fashioned and minimal or basic complimentary products. For nearly £100 a night I definitely expected more as I would of paid £30 tops for my stay. The £100 for the night got me a bed, basic kettle with tea and coffee, soap and shower gel, with use of the gym facilities (which were basic and needed a clean) For the price I paid I was expecting at least shampoo and conditioner and probably even breakfast in the morning. I'd definitely not stay here again or recommend it to anyone
K, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

It is a large spacious propert but a little tired in certain areas
1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a very dated look.. Although the bed was comfortable and the sheets nice, the towels were very rough, there was also a lack of toiletries. Breakfast was very good, the coffee machine very good, though a no defcafe option. Really like that you do your own toast instead of cold triangles on a silver toast rack.
Allison, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

The first room I was given was filthy, upon complaining I was given a clean room. It's a beautiful hotel but the cleaning staff or QC lets it down.
