Wrong booking or rip-off?
At check-in we were told that we were booked with a baby instead of a child (our 12 year old son) despite I had a reservation for 2 adults and 1 child from our agent (hotels.com / Expedia). That costed me another $330 for 5 days and the manager didn't help at all to clear thing up.

There was a smell in the room that was overwhelming. The food was not prepared properly. I ordered lobster ravioli and smelled it before it got to the table and had to send it back. The liquor was cheap. Every member of the group came back with some type of stomach issue.

Riu Palce is absolutely beautiful. Friendly staff and comfortable property. I would highly recommend. We have noticed in the times we have used Hotels.com at each property the room we are placed in is always next the the elevators and maid's closets/rooms. It is noisy, busy, and not very clean in the area just ouside the employees work area. Apparently the hotels.com rooms are not top quality or run of the house, but the less desirable rooms on the properties. it is most discouraging.

This property is BEAUTIFUL and is VERY CLEAN! ALL staff is friendly and knowledgeable and goes out of their way to assist. The food in the buffets is DELICIOUS. We only ate at one of the specialty restaurants and it was average- prefer the bufffet. Security is good, with all guests required to have a resort bracelet at all times.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience here! This was our first time going to a resort and it exceeded our expectations by miles! The staff are all extremely helpful and kind, the specialty restaurants are top notch, food and water being unsafe is nothing to worry about here! The pools are clean and perfect temps, tons of chairs to lounge on, the drinks at the pool are decent, but the drinks at the bar in the lobby are even better! Food is amazing, breakfast buffet was so huge we didn't even get a chance to try everything in 6 days so definitely don't skip that! The weather was beautiful, rooms were clean and comfortable and we generally just had a wonderful time and would absolutely come again! Absolutely all meals and drinks are included, no hidden fees or costs! If I had to give a small downside it would be that the beach vendors are a little bothersome and the ocean is too rough to swim, but those things were so minor and didn't affect our experience in the long run! Absolutely outstanding experience, if you're questioning if you should go, DO IT!

I would like Whiskey in the room as a choice. Drinking a whiskey on the balcony would be great. The other choice although good is not something I drink like that. It would also be nice for a map of Santa Fa with a designated walking or running route to follow with distance given at a starting point. That would complement the health choices. Other than that the vacation was great.

This place was awesome first time in Cabo and couldn’t have picked a better resort to stay at , staff were friendly food options was fantastic the restaurant were great and the buffet was even better, only thing I would wish the room had was the stocked beer Dos XX was not cutting everyday hey Pacifico or Carta Blanca would’ve made it great it just seemed Dos X was the beer they had there but over all rating I give it a thumbs up 5 stars

The whole staff was amazing everyone was so helpful and always made sure you didn’t need anything. It was very clean you always seen people sweeping picking up trash and moping floors making sure walkways were safe. Definitely would recommend Hotel Piu Palace to friends and family.
