The door for linen chute was broken, it was slamming violently loud through out the day. It was extremely difficult to sleep with the level noise. When raised my concern to the hotel manager. He promised to send a technician to fix the chute. But it was not fixed. I was sleep deprived the entire stay. It was an uncomfortable stay with poor customer service.

Very mobility impaired unfriendly. Hot,
Halls very narrow and unable to use mobility scooters in Halls and my able to get on elevators without getting off mobility scooter and maneuvering around . Also not able to get it inside room without same issue. Front desk staff very unhelpful. Wrong room type I reserved king and ended up with two queen beds. Very hard to get comfortable temp in room. Thermostats locked into temp range. No way for mobility impaired person to get into breakfast area. Very difficult to get into or out of building with mobility scooter/wheelchair if you have no one with you as there are no auto doors and you cant fit in roundabout door.

Comfortable room with an amazing view. I was told that there was a $100 deposit that would be released upon check out but that wasn’t the case. When I went to check out, I was told it would take 7-10 business days to get the $100 back. I was NOT happy about that. Also, my points did NOT transfer into my account for my stay even after 72 hours. I had to contact Hyatt through email and still waiting for my points to transfer. Very disappointed.

Hotel room was big for New York city standards. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was 4 lifts, you would sometimes need to wait which is to be expected but the most annoying part was at reception level you could see which lift would arrive first, but on the floor level you couldn’t tell. As someone with limited mobility it was often a race to enter the lift before the door closed so that could maybe be improved. The room came with free breakfast. As a vegan I found it an appalling choice. Fried potato cubes and fruit. There was oat & almond milk for coffee/tea but the food selection should really be better for NYC in 2024! Location was perfect.
