Excellent all around

Excellent stay - friendly staff, clean and well-maintained throughout, very comfortable room, and incredibly helpful when I accidentally locked myself out of my room at 2am in nothing but my underwear.

A Pleasant Sto.

Overall the hotel was good. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. I didn’t think much to the bathroom. The workmanship eg the sealant around the sink was very amateurish. There was no mat to go in the bath which I would say is a health and safety issue especially given the bottom of the bath was smooth. The parking facilities were most convenient and the breakfast were good. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

6/10 Good

Good stay, couple of functions on in the hotel but couldn’t hear them in our room. Room itself was nice, but very very warm. Has to sleep with windows open onto the busy road and used the fans that were all ready provided. Glad it was a February stay and not a summer stay.

Unfortunately lots of homeless people living in tents under the railway arches, which is very sad to see

Good but let down

Very grand and impressive hotel, and although an old building everything was in a clean and good condition. The only exception was the bed. The bedding (i suspect the quilt) smelt musty and stale and the mattress was tired with springs easily felt as you lay on it. The pillows were not very nice either.

Perfekt läge, trevligt och rent. Ganska hård säng.

8/10 Very good

Lovely old Victorian hotel, nice friendly staff, good size room spoilt by a table top white fridge on the floor - had to switch off due to noise! Hotel only let down by standard of food - too much ultra processed food, tinned tomatoes at breakfast and only fried eggs offered.
Caroline, 2-night trip

Lovely central hotel, staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms have everything you need, are clean and beds are comfortable. Recommend if your in the area

6/10 Good

Clean and spacious room, poor breakfast

Limited but free parking on site and we were able to leave our car and luggage ahead of check in. Our family room was incredibly clean and spacious with a single bed made up in addition to 2 doubles. Decent size bathroom with plenty of towels. The hotel was quite busy and very noisy throughout the night with doors banging and chatter in the hallways. I think there was a large group in for the weekend so perhaps not usually so busy. Staff were generally helpful but breakfast was hugely disappointing. We didn't have it included in our rate so I paid for 2 adults and 2 children totalling £27. A very limited and uninteresting cooked selection, a few cereals and some fruit (though the strawberries had mouldy ones visible). I actually got my breakfast refunded as nothing appealing.

Surprisingly lovely Hotel

Lovely old Hotel with some amazing original features, friendly staff and right in the heart of Bradford, exceptional value for money with free parking, including EV spaces. Will stay again.

An amazing place!

The hotel is a stunning building, its heritage clear to see. The reception staff are helpful and provided a swift service. Pre-check in is a good option. The Room: Our only comments were both a physical aspect of room 132, which was fairly small, and maybe not suitable for a person with mobility impacts, and the TV on the wall needs to be on an adjustable bracket. And a real bug bear for me are dirty windows! The bathroom is fine, although disabled access might be challenging. The shower pressure is fantastic!! Catering: Breakfast was predictable, and little choice for a vegetarian. I think the hot buffet needs to consider this. We were curious why there isn’t a continental bakery option? The coffee machine produces pretty undrinkable coffee. But the friendly welcome and location are delightful. Having said all this, we love the hotel and will definitely stay again. We wanted to provide genuine analysis of our stay.

An old Victorian Hotel, well worth a visit.

The staff at the Midland hotel are very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with noisy neighbours in an adjoining bedroom, this was pointed out to reception staff and we were moved to another room without a fuss. All the public rooms are from another era (Victorian times) so the hotel has an old feel but still modern where it needs to be. There is limited free parking on site (don't forget to put your registration number into the ipad at reception. Public rooms are kept to a high standard. The hotel location is just next to Forster Square railway station, so very handy for getting there.

Only a one night stay and loved the Hotel. The only negative is the lift being out of order and the stairs were a struggle but we were offered use of the service lift but had to be accompanied by a member of staff which was fine but if the staff were busy we didn’t like to bother them so took the stairs (very slowly).
