Family comfy stay :)
The Alexis Park Hotel feels more like a stay at a friends studio apartment than the typical cookie cutter strip hotel. The mini fridge, personal coffee maker and microwave definitely come in handy. A few mins drive to the strip, or a few mins walk to the local food strip for some White Castle, sbarros, Dunkin D, or mom n pops places, everything’s still really convenient. This was our first stay, definitely not our last. Please note: we didn’t need anything fancy, luxurious, or upscale, just a comfortable place to lay our heads and take a shower (did I mention the roomie tub lol). This was worth the price for the accommodation.

Newly Renovated?
We stayed for my husbands birthday. We like to visit Vegas once or twice a year. We always try to opt for the hotels with more room space. The room was nice when we walked in.. but the more time we spent there.. the more we noticed the “renovations” were more of a Mickey Mouse job. The shower head & handle moved A LOT, so we were careful when we turned it on. The shower floor felt like we were going to fall thru.. uneven, creaky, & slippery! The bed was on a bed frame that someone might have “jumped” on too much and the frame came apart at the bottom. When I woke up in the middle of the night and got out of bed, I stepped down between the bed rail and the mattress and almost fell..my husband got up and “fixed” it so we could go back to sleep. The downstairs AC unit closest to the restroom was dripping what looked like water.. the neighbors were smoking weed so when we returned to our room Saturday, that’s all we could smell.. and lastly the planes! If you don’t mind the sound of Boeing planes flying overhead every 5-10 minutes all day and night, then this won’t bother you. I normally won’t complain about stuff like this, especially if we aren’t spending much time in the room. But this time just felt like one thing after another.

We stayed after attending cash after dark (very good show). The room apppeared clean, but old. Smelled of stale cigarettes. The surrounding area is a bit sketchy. Instead of counting sheep, i counted jets taking off from the airport, ALL.NIGHT.LONG! Very loud. Can't say i would recommend staying here.

Terrible experience
1. Sofa bad mattress is so old and dirty, making noise whenever I move. 2. Floor carpet is dirty. I needed to wear shoes to go to bathroom. 3. It was cold at night. I asked extra sheet to a lady in the reception. The reception said they will send people to my room. However nobody showed up. 4. Even worst thing is noise. There was a loud music and speech in front of the hotel even at night due to some strike. The reception helped me to move to another room. That room, about 10 people were talking, laughing and fighting from 10pm to 1:30am. It was a most terrible hotel experience in my 44 years life.

We had no heat the first and second night they wanted to move us. The sink was leaking. They did give us credit on the resort fee, but it was very very noisy because they were striking across the street. I wish they would’ve told us. It was just a big mess
