Santuario Diegueño
"We have been going to Tecate every month for the last 5 months and have been staying at Santuario Diegueño. All the other times, with the exception of this last stay in August, have been perfect! This time they failed us; Our room's door latch was not working/locking and therefore we were not able to use the deadbolt at all. I pointed out to the reception lady & she told us that the door & deadbolt had just been repaired earlier, but she would have maintenence fix it. The next day in the evening, I reminded her deadbolt didn't work, but again, she said maintenence would look into it. It never got fixed! So we had to make sure we used the security latch BAR to get some sense of security. Also, we didn't have a remote control to our t.v. from day #1. We notified reception and lady provided us with one that probably didnt belong to our t.v. because it had to be turned on manually, then we could use the remote to change channels or work volume only. And lastly, on the day before our check out, they didn't provided us with all the toiletries they normally do, like lotion, and hand towels were missing. The coffee area was not replenished nor the sugars and creamers. At this point, i was just disappointed and did not bother notifying anyone anymore. Next morning, we checked out early in the morning at 6 am and wanted to voice my discontent, but only the overnight man was there and he seemed not to know much & he didn't even have hand lotion at the reception to provide me with."
