This hotel is a new small hotel situated across the bay from Akureyri with stunning views of the mountain ranges and water. Each room is large and has a view. The beds are comfortable, it has all the modern conveniences and a basic but filling breakfast.
This place was lovely, having a hot tub on your balcony was an amazing way to relax and unwind after a day of driving. The property is close to Akureyri if you want to have dinner there or find grocery options. The check in process however was painful, with the website saying you need to contact (call) them two days prior. This is very annoying when you can’t contact them (i didn’t have calling with my eSIM plan). I spent two times with Expedia support attempting to contact the property to...
Nice rooms, friendly staff, plus with en suite rooms, this is good value (for Iceland). We've stayed here 4 times and will stay here again if the opportunity arises.
