H10 Imperial Tarraco
"Nice hotel in a great location. Tarragona is a very historic city with some fabulous restaurants."
Blaumar Hotel Salou
"Overall we enjoyed our stay, perfect location, hotel clean and staff friendly. The only criticism was that pool was heavily chlorinated, so much so it was cloudy, and you couldn't see the bottom of the pool Both myself and daughter have sensitive skin, so we decided not to risk swimming in it. The buffet food was cooked well, however not kept warm. Every meal we had wasn't very warm at all. The variety was good, themed nights were excellent. We thought it strange that we didn't have to pay for drinks at breakfast, but evening meal drinks are chargeable. We weren't made aware of this when we arrived. The drinks are very reasonably priced though, so it wasn't much of an issue. The WiFi was terrible. So much so, I've run out of data, which never happens back home. The walls are paper thin, so we had to use ear plugs to sleep. We loved the water coolers dotted around the hotel. The hotel is very eco friendly. Again, we enjoyed our stay, the downsides didn't detract from the holiday too much. We went to the beach instead of the pool, granted we had to pay for sun beds but you get a reduced price staying in the hotel. The food at the Bluumar beach bar was fantastic. We also had to pay for the safety deposit box in the room, which I've never had to do before. €6 per night."
PortAventura Hotel Gold River - Includes unlimited access to PortAventura Park & 1 day access to Ferrari Land
"Excellent location. A bit tricky to get to if arriving by train. Air conditioner like most European hotels a little lacking. Breakfast good but very crowded, requires a reservation time, yet still long lines."
AC Hotel Tarragona by Marriott
"El personal fue super atento. Nos encanto y volveriamos."
PortAventura Hotel Caribe - Includes unlimited access to PortAventura Park & 1 day access to Ferrari Land
"Clean room, but damage in a few places. Overall was good stay"
Rentalmar Salou Pacific
"Bed comfortable. Air conditioning excellent. Pool good size. Only flaw is room needs updating. Reception staff 5*. Close to buses and salou within walking distance"
Hotel Best Negresco
"Definitely get the sea view room. Location is everything with this place. We went for the eclipse and as an older couple we enjoyed a relaxing day at the pool. It was not the kind of place we normally go. It is perfect for families and it was nice to see people having fun without screens. The staff was helpful but not intrusive. Appreciated that they were on top of keeping the floors dry with everyone dripping water. The place is a bit dated but it had a charm to it. The pool is the main feature and it was kind of nice that they close it early so you can enjoy the peaceful sea views in the evening. Elevators were a complaint for some but we were on the 3rd floor and didnt mind walking down. The other issue is the parking but we totally lucked out getting there early to get a spot near the hotel. We just kept up on paying the meter every 4 hours until the evening when parking was free."
Hotel Num
"Fabulous hotel nearer to the old town . Good points … Air conditioning in the room Cleanliness standards 10/10 Rooftop swimming pool Points to be aware of … Wi-Fi abit hit and miss The spa prices are extortionate! 55 euros for 60 mins ! If they been longer or cheaper I would have tried it . The hot breakfast selection was not good."
Hotel SB Express Tarragona
"Clean room handy paid parking"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Reus
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Reus is during January, February, and October, when hotel prices tend to be lower. To fully experience the city’s historical and cultural offerings, a stay of at least 4 to 5 days is recommended. This duration allows visitors to explore various landmarks, including museums, churches, and monuments, all of which present great value for money. Additionally, there are budget-friendly tours and opportunities to enjoy the local port area, making it an ideal destination for those travelling on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover accommodation options in Reus, visit the Deals or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates on hotels close to your travel date. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you could stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, helping you secure the best hotel deals. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re updated on any price drops or availability changes for your preferred accommodations. This way, you’re more likely to seize a last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, having some flexibility with your travel dates might allow you to save on your stay in a hotel in Reus. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and, at times, better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we will recommend more affordable dates, increasing the likelihood that you'll secure a better deal.
- Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with higher expenses. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and ease of access to the sites you plan to visit. You might also explore independent hotels situated further out, which can often provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
