Even though it looks like it should be hired by the hour it’s actually a great hotel. Service is outstanding, food is very good, it’s conveniently located for travellers. For an airport hotel it’s better than most.

We stayed in a room in the new villa section, and it was wonderful. Lots of space, quiet and with great natural light. The bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping was spotless. The hotel is in a great location with easy walking to main sights or very convenient access to public transport. We were worried that it would be noisy being close to the trains and trams, but we found it peaceful. Lots of good restaurants in easy walking distance or a short tram ride away, and the hotel bar is a pleasant...

The hotel was within walking distance of most of the major attractions and restaurants. The staff were very friendly, helpful and overall amazing. We loved our stay and would recommend any one looking for accommodation in Basel to consider this hotel.

Breakfast was great many choices and our room was very good.

Great hotel, beautiful rooms. Hotel bar is great. You can use the gym just 50m down the road. Great area of Basel to be in, easy to walk or get the tram/bus everywhere. The first two nights I was in a room facing the road that was extremely noisy, thankfully they moved me to a courtyard room which was much quieter.

Had a wonderful two day stay at this elegant and classically European hotel. Extremely beautiful architecture and interiors. Chandeliers are specataculat. Rooms were a good size with lots of closet space and gorgeous marble bathroom with all the modern amenities. Location is right in the Old Town of Basel and overlooks the Rhine. Had great sundowners at their terrace bar and a wonderful dinner at Cheval Blanc. And despite the superior five star service, the hotel had personal touches such as...

Lovely Breakfast, worth the extra cost, Great Hotel, nice and quiet, and such a lovely friendly helpful Welcome 😊 However was a very Small room with a small bathroom, a bit too small.! Bed was awful, could feel ALL the lumpy Springs.! Got No Sleep 1st night due to bed being so terrible, so on the 2nd night we got an extra duvet cover to put on top of the mattress.! Otherwise, location was good and staff were excellent and property was clean!

Such a cosy hotel to spend Christmas night in after we visited family a short drive away. The indoor pool, spa, sauna and hammam were excellent: clean and modern and working perfectly, just what we'd hoped for. The superior room, chosen due to the discounted holiday rate, was smaller than anticipated and didn't have a view, but it was still very nice.

Welcoming, clean. moderm, facilities terrirfic, coffee / tea and available at any time, I love this. I am sick and tired of having to pay for everything in hotels and I travel a lot. Close to airport - perfect. So helpful. They also give you a pass for Public transport. All other hotels should follow this concept - if I am back in Basel - I would go straight there.
