"I visited with my wife and daughter for a chill out weekend after a busy first quarter. This hotel was ideal with stunning views of lake Windermere and the busy boating area of Bowness. We walked 20 mins into Bowness on an evening (torch required for return leg) and during the day. We relaxed around the hotels lake, and I must stay the weather played its part too. We ate in the hotel bar and the food was excellent, breakfast was one of the best we had too, plenty of choice, nothing was too much...

comfort. The breakfast was outstanding. So good to have a small dining are inside the room. Breakfast arrived on a little trolly and the choice and quality was exceptional. Positioned between the two centres so it was easy to walk around both."

"This guest house is more than a house - it's a home. The hosts were very hospitable and detailed with their service to their guests. We booked several rooms and all rooms were unique in itself. Rooms were large and very tidy. There is even a garden where guests could spend time catching up. Breakfast was generous and choices were ample enough. This house is just a 3 min walk to the town amd to the bus stop. This is a great experience for us and we will definitely stay here again if we happen...
