"What a great experience! Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, and delicious food. The cats theme is charming and we loved being able to spend time with them. It was nice having a private onsen and since there are limited guests, we didn’t have to reserve and were able to bathe whenever we asked. I recommend staying more than one night, and wish the trip were longer. Thank you for the beautiful stay! "

The shower is on the outside with the open bath and the coldness of the weather wasn’t a problem for us since the water of the shower was quite warm and you jump into the onsen right after… (I see lots of comments complaining about that). I choose the Japanese style room with a mountain view and had a relaxing time soaking at the onsen. They had 3 different area of public bath and I enjoyed the rooftop onsen the most, I even woke up at 6.30am to catch the sunrise with Mount Yufu.
