I would be more than happy to recommend this hotel in Zirl, on the bus route if required. The bedrooms althought snug were very comfortable and ensuite etc. The decour is very traditional with carved wood and lead light windows etc, a theme carried through the hotel. The staff were very accommodating with some speaking better English than others, however if you attempted to speak the language the assistance cannot be faulted. The air conditioning didn’t work in our first room and we moved rooms. The second room took 4 days to cool down from 26 degrees to 21. We didn’t open any windows and kept the aircon running the whole time. It’s a very new hotel but still has teething problems. Also the toilet is in a separate room to the bathroom but no allowance has been made to fit a towel holder so you can have a towel to dry your hands. On the positive side it is very close to the train station and the views are excellent.

We never actually got to stay at Koegele because when we arrived to check in we were told they had overbooked. The man at the desk made a phone call and got us into a hotel that was very close by. He told me he would pay for the hotel because I had already made a payment by card for Koegele. The hotel he sent us to was nice and we enjoyed the stay. However, when we went to check out the next day I had to pay 102 Euro because the woman who checked us out was not aware of this arrangement. I paid...
