"A very enjoyable one night stay. We had booked a junior suite but asked to swap rooms to a different type, with a golf view. The receptionist was happy to oblige and all was sorted swiftly. We were so pleased with our decision as the view down the eighteenth hole and across the surrounding countryside was fabulous. The delicious and plentiful breakfast was freshly prepared and made to order."

"Having eaten at Christopher's (excellent), I thought it only reasonable to expect the same high standards in the adjoining hotel - sadly not. The lady who checked me in was friendly and thorough but the accomodation felt tired and in need of some TLC in terms of decor and ambience. Lovely bed and bedding but poor quality / old towels and shower mat (all were frayed). No rubber mat available which meant the shower floor was very slippy however the toiletries were nice.
