"We had a lovely stay. We arrived, got settled, and had drinks, appetizers, and an excellent dinner in the restaurant while perusing books everywhere. Bed was comfortable, location was quiet away from the hustle bustle. Had to be at an event in Gville at noon, and the timing worked out perfectly. It has the old Florida charm at its finest; I can't wait to return!"

"We were very happy with our stay. The purpose of our trip was to attend the Gators game with our kids. The stadium was walking distance from our hotel and we also had dinner at Indian Aroma which is right across the street. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of fresh clean towels. The lady allowed us early check in too so that was a plus. Only disappointment was breakfast. It was just a few wrapped sugary pastries. Coffee was also not good. "Dated but clean, well maintained property. A bargain in Gainesville. Only negative, the flood lights in the parking lot bleed into the rooms despite blackout curtains. The strong light gives the impression the area is not safe. The area is safe. Tone down those lights. "
