Nice but.....

House was nice however booked because of fire place and private beach access ( booking.com description) informed could not use fireplace as it was no longer winter ( missed it by 2 days) and there was no private beach access. The beach access was down the road and it was pretty rough track and s bit of a walk. So because of those two things I didn’t enjoy the stay as much as I wanted to.

Comfortable civilised living!

The house is lovely and had everything we needed apart from not managing to get the Barb B Q to light. Although there are views of the water these are quite limited form inside the house and access to the water is not as direct as one might think. We enjoyed 2 beautiful sunsets despite the really windy conditions!

Our stay was fine! We were away for most of the days visiting touristy stuff in the area. Unfortunately there was no dishwasher as stated in their book. And was very sad that there was no coffee plunger!!!

It was a very sterile and cold property.

It was in the new estate area of Coles bay - the original Coles bay charming village that I remembered was much further down the road. No ammenities we’re close. We did however have ocean views. The house however was freezing, no internet, no games, no milk etc - all supplies had to be brought, we assumed the left over olive oil was from previous guests. Thus may be an ok place in summer but cold and dreary and full of drafts in winter. We spent most of our days out and didn’t enjoy our evenings in. The agent was super helpful, and the place was spotless it just wasn’t ideal for us and what we were looking for and were disappointed after spending 2,amazing days in an air bnb in spring beach for cheaper. Sorry

Beautiful comfortable accommodation at Coles Bay.

We were pleasantly surprised with this property. It is very spacious for a family of four. Very comfortable even in winter. There is fireplace. However we found it very difficult to get started (probably because we were inexperience). But don't be alarmed as there are heaters, air-conditioning and electric blankets to keep you warm. Our children particularly enjoyed the board games which was in the house. The property is 5 minutes drive from town centre and 15 minutes to the national park carpark. Freycinet Marine Farm is also close by. There is a laundry room with washing machine but no dryer. If you are going to Coles Bay, we will definitely recommend this property.
