An absolute beautiful, comfortable place to return to each day after experiencing the beauty of the wilderness and walks around Cradle Mountain. The open fires create warmth and atmosphere while you enjoy a drink and /or meal. Excellent service from the staff. Good food. We were really happy with our Pine room, the good quality teas and shampoo's etc. were an added bonus.

Although we really enjoyed our stay, the lodge is starting to show its age. The couch in the cabin was not overly comfortable for sitting in front of the fire place and the lack of a side or coffee table was a slight inconvenience.

It was a great base for our walking. The tavern and breakfast were great. I thought the room Tariff is overpriced considering the standard of accommodation. We could easily hear our neighbours chatting which was annoying at times
