Lovely environment and attentive staff. The food could be improved... breakfast delivered to villas was not consistently hot... and they don’t do espresso coffees. The menu, whilst extensive could be updated... a bit old school compared to the fine eateries in Ubud. Just needs an expansion and more contemporary menu.

My spouse and I had the pleasure of staying in the honeymoon suite at the Ubud Nyuh Bali Resort and Spa following our wedding this past January. The villa where we stayed was relaxing and contained a variety of amenities such as a private swimming pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, and spacious air-conditioned bathroom and bedroom. In addition, our villa included a roofed dining area separate from the living quarters, complete with table, refrigerator, sink, couch, television, and fan. We really appreciated this feature of our villa since it allowed us to enjoy the fresh air while eating outside. Our stay also included a multitude of complimentary services such as a petal bath, Balinese foot massage, honeymoon cake and snacks upon our arrival, mineral water for our room, daily afternoon tea, and choice of daily breakfast from the resort’s restaurant. In addition, my spouse and I decided to get a shoulder and back massage at the resort spa and to take the traditional Balinese cooking class. This was the most fun part of our stay since we were able to not only learn how to make some traditional Balinese dishes, but also to visit a local marketplace. My only regret was that we could not have stayed longer. Should we ever return to Ubud, we will undoubtedly stay at Nyuh Bali again and we strongly recommend others to do the same!
