Mixed feelings
Contact to host 24 hours before arrival was impossible as phone number was discontinued or not existing.
No attempt to contact from host was made. No message to us upon arrival. Calling hotels.com didn't help but we were offered another place to stay. After 3 hours we got in contact with host by hard work and pure luck.
Late evening and tired. We got settled in an apartment which most of all looked like it was not maintained at all. But as we were tired we decided to contact host next morning.
Next morning my wife took a shower and found the drain completely blocked. 2 inch of water in all bathroom.
Contacted host immediately and got a new identical room which was in order and had all needed things.
After yet a night we checked our reservation and found that it was not what we had ordered. It was too small and a studio but we had paid for 2 rooms and pool view.
Yet again we were moved to right version of room without pool view though.
This room was still lacking maintenance and cleaning was not that perfect but acceptable.
The pool and surroundings was very nice.
We clearly had a feeling that we were attempted to be cheated into smaller room to keep better rooms available.
Host were very responsive during the stay after we have established contact. But she did not show up in person.
We recommend the building and surroundings but not the host.
Hence the mixed feelings.
Btw. She offered us 400 THB in compensation. We declined and got 4000 THB from hotels.com.
