Loved the spa bath on the balcony. Thank-you, also, for all the bits and pieces in the pantry and frig.

Very comfortable stay. Everything you needed was catered for and after a day exploring it was great to have a relaxing spa at dusk looking out at the forest (mostly)

The cottage is clean and modern. It looks over bushland that is full of birds. There is a spa on the balcony overlooking the bush.

Briars Cottage was a wonderful retreat for my husband and I on our recent trip to Melbourne and country Victoria. It's a private little cottage with a lovely vibe; well appointed and cozy in the cold weather; and I'm sure it's beautiful in the warmer months too. The decor is welcoming, the small touches by the hosts most appreciated. The only thing I'd mention for others is that the short road to the cottage may need a four wheel drive for some vehicle types (definitely not for sports cars) and the bedroom is accessed by stairs. We adored our time there.

Cosy cottage providing a much needed getaway
Our family of four loved this cottage. Given that we visited in the middle of winter, the cottage was cosy and had plenty of space for all of us. Comfy beds, nice linen, towels, etc. we really appreciated the thoughtfulness Di and Duncan have put into catering for guests - including the champagne and chocolates. Highly recommend and look forward to returning.

Pleasant enough, but expensive for a place that doesn't provide breakfast. Had to walk to village to get fresh milk and bread. (We didn't have our own transport). Spreads were available for toast, but NO BUTTER!
We weren't able to carry our case upstairs. Disappointed that room linen didn't include face washers.
