My partner and I stayed here our first night in Marrakesh. The guys at the reception were very friendly. They gave us a full explanation of the surrounding area and a map. After some mint tea to welcome us in, they helped us bring our bags to the rooms. We didn’t have chance to try the spa services, but they look lovely. Would absolutely stay again. Thanks! :)

The riad was lovely and clean in both the rooms and the communal areas and the breakfast was great. For me the highlight was the staff who were absolutely wonderful during our stay, very welcoming and full of advice on where to go in the local area.

Beautiful Riad, however the surrounding area is very tough - taxi can only take you so far and you have to walk in a dangerous alleyway labyrinth to get to the Riad. Staff will gladly pick you up from the taxi drop off limit. There was a mouse in our room and when we complained, they didn’t believe us. Thankfully we had a video to show of it. If you book the spa treatments or any of the excursions they offer/support, there are no options to cancel or postpone according to your day in Marrakech. Overall some things were nice, others weren’t. Zakariya was a 10/10 staff member!

The entire staff is absolutely lovely and made me feel so welcome. This elegant Riad is a calm oasis within the hustle of the Medina. I went on a food tour of Morocco & I had the best most flavorful tagline here,

Would come again & book for family/friends
Booked a girls trip to Marrakech to celebrate my birthday and it wouldn't have been nearly as wonderful had we not booked at L'Oriental Medina & Spa! The staff at this Riad were extremely accommodating and caring, that by the end of the trip they felt like extended family- specifically Elias & Abudl! As soon as we checked in, Elias gave us an in depth guide of Marrakech on the map, providing us with thorough directions to the Souks & Place Jemma El Fna. Honest recommendations were made on where to go for affordable and good meals, as well as what things or paths to avoid to ensure we did not get scammed. The whole team really went the extra mile by walking us to certain shops and booking us personal taxis to ensure we were given an honest rate. Even the chef came in an hour early to make us breakfast upon request when we made them aware that we had an excursion before their breakfast start time. We came as a group of three girls and shared one room, but not once did we feel it was too small. Both our double and single bed were extremely comfortable; and the sheets, towels and toiletries were changed every day. While we did not have treat ourselves to the spa or ate at the Riad for lunch/dinner, we thoroughly enjoyed breakfast as it was different every morning and appeared to be traditional Moroccan dishes. Abdul always greeted us with a smile & poured us the loveliest of teas. Would recommend this Riad ten times over! Conveniently placed and amazingly run.

Beautiful Riad with great staff! Mohamed was extremely helpful and caring! We had to change some travel plans last minute and they were very accommodating with our schedules. Only thing is that you have to go through a few small darker alleys to get to the riad entrance which was sometimes uncomfortable late at night, but once you’re there it feels completely safe and welcoming.

Just OK
The overall stay was ok but to find it was very tricky, in a strange location. The pictures online looked much better than what it really was. The property and rooms were clean and the staff were quite friendly. The one problem I had which I’m not sure was the hotel or hotels.coms problem… when I booked the two rooms they were supposed to have 2 beds in each room and that was not the case which was inconvenient and not what I paid for

Beautiful property w/ great service
As with most Riads inside the Medina, you will need to walk w/ your luggage for a few hundred yards as taxis can't drive to the door. However, once inside, the service was excellent and the quality was top-notch. The rooftop restaurant was a nice surprise. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent.

The staff were so friendly and attentive. They sat us down and went over an introduction to Marrakesh using a map on our arrival (accompanied by mint tea and cake) which meant that the complex city made so much more sense. The guy who brought our breakfast remembered our drinks orders each morning, which was lovely. The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very clean. It was difficult to find (we had to resort to GPS) as it isn't well signed and is on a small, unnamed street.

The staff and service was amazing! The Riad was beautiful and spotless and everyone was very helpful in assisting us from one Riad to the next, taxis, directions, excursions and directions to the souks. They offer a full kitchen full of tasty treats you can have by the pool, on the roof or in your room.

Amazing staff and beautiful Riad
The hotel staff is amazing and nothing bad to say about the Riad itself. The area isn’t the safest for 2 females traveling. Taxis and cars can’t come all the way and then you have to walk about 5 minutes. However the staff walked us to our taxi and took us back!
