Lisboa apartment
The hotel / apartment was nice and appears new inside. While I appreciate the eco-friendly principles, I kind of want a fresh towel or bedding at least once during a 6 night stay especially on a vacation (and also considering the hotel was not cheap). The immediate area appears a bit run down but the location is actually quite close to Martin Moniz Square (and metro stop) just down the hill and Rossio Square is also just a bit past Martin Moniz so it was a great location for easy access to the different neighborhoods on foot / by metro / by tram. It never felt unsafe to me but we were never out late as we had our young daughter with us. We tried all the different tiny restaurants literally a few steps away from the hotel for breakfasts (quite good and inexpensive) before heading out for the day. There is also a small grocery across the street. We were one floor up from the street yet with the windows closed it was very quiet. We only heard very loud footsteps from the apartment above us several nights waking us up (I don't know if it was an issue with the way the floors are designed or whether the neighbors upstairs were just particularly "heavy footed." The hotel staff gave some great recommendations for sights and they were quite friendly whenever we saw them.

I could not recommend this more. The Wifi, bed, and shower were all fantastic. It was quiet. The hosts were fantastic. I will stay here in the future any time I am in town and you should, too!
