Horrible experience
Please do not book this hotel for your stay in Goreme, you will really regret it.
I went with my wife and two kids. (1 year old and 3 year old). They told us our room was in the basement. They did not have any infant cribs for child. It was a cold night, there was no heating even after asking for it. We all slept on the cold dusty floor.
The next morning we went to breakfast around 8:45am, the waitress was standing in front of the buffet eating her gourmet eggs with tomatoes while most of the buffet bowls were empty. My kids ate a piece of cake. There were no eggs for us and most other bowls were empty. When other guests came in, she asked them if they wanted an egg omelette and started cooking it for them (we could see because the kitchen is right behind the buffet and there is no wall). After serving the guests coming after us, I approached her and asked why she didn’t ask my family and why everything was empty, she just smiled and said do you want an omelette too? We left hungry.
We checked out of the hotel at 9:30am even though we paid for two nights.
We asked for a refund after this horrible experience, they did not give it. We contacted hotels.com to help us, they communicated with this hotel but they still did not give us back our refund. We arrived at night and left in the morning but paid for two days which we did not get our money back for.
Cannot believe how some people manage hotels and their customers, these are all fake reviews on their page.
