This is the nicest place to stay in West Yellowstone. They did a great job renovating an old motel into a cute hotel. The rooms are comfy and cute. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the only disappointment- it was more like motel food.

So happy we booked here. Such a beautiful and comfortable hotel. We were extremely happy with the service and especially the welcoming when we checked in late at night. They offered suggestions and breakfast was included! We were overall really satisfied with this stay. 1872 Inn was a wonderful treat. We spent 3 nights in this peaceful little hotel brimming with a western elegance not typical of this small town. It is beautifully & thoughtfully designed for ultimate comfort. The “Continental breakfast” is complete with eggs, meat, fruit & pastries. We loved our time here.
