Massive spa hotel right by the lake. It has a Chinese feel to it with big heavy seating in the lobby. Very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast served in a magnificent ballroom.

The hotel is on a lake, but there is no seating, walking paths, or other ways to access and enjoy the lake on site. The hotel is older and the wing where we stayed is in need of an upgrade. The hotel hosts hosted multiple large school groups during our stay. Fine for a night if your just looking for a place to stay.

Quiet hotel by the abashiri lake
The lake view was really beautiful. But they Need to be clean more often. The bed was very comfortable. The public bathtub were clean. But we have to keep pushing the handle in order to keep running water.
Tatami was new but carpet was not.

The hotel is big, but staff treats you with individual approach. The public bath is also big with even outside section, but the amenities are minimal.
Access to the hotel is great especially when you are with a car. ( do not know access to public transport but it is outside of the town).
overall good quality hotel.

Big, nice staffs, and good view! The hotel has 60 years history so I believe it was ever a 5-star hotel in the old days. Just the building becomes old but there are still excellent people and space.

Relaxing Onsen along the shores of Lake Abashiri.
The Hotel Abashirikoso is a beautiful Onsen along the shores of Lake Abashiri. There are many soaking pools to enjoy and the breakfast buffet is fabulous. The kaiseki dinners are also tasty and includes crab, sashimi, hot pot and other foods. All rooms overlook the Lake and the rooms are quite large and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice location in front of Lake
Great scenic location in front of lake. Enjoyed the Japanese set dinner which must be booked in advance. Stayed 2 nights there and enjoyed my morning walk exploring the lake. The onsen was great too. Room is very big with modern bed or traditional floor mattress. Love it.

조용하고 쾌적합니다. 도심까지는 버스를 이용해야 합니다. 호수가 바로 앞에 있어 산책하기 좋습니다. 직원들이 친절합니다.
