We were blown away by the town of Heppenheim. It is the quintessential, charming German town. The hotel itself has its own brewery and distillery. The accommodations were nice - a nice hotel that met our needs. Our room had a nice soaking tub with toiletries and a hair dryer. There was no iron or ironing board. You should know that there is no elevator in case you can't do stairs. But more than the actual hotel, the short walk into the center of town was amazing. Charming little cafes, a beautiful church, and a walk up the mountain to the vineyards and a castle. We also went to the modern winery in town. There is free wifi, free parking, and a delightful free breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel.
