No customer service at all
The front desk is useless. They do not provide any information about the local activities because they don't think it is their job. Our room does not have heat because it is not turned on, and the front desk told us to bring an electrical heater and they never delivered. They never answered our calls from the room. Overall, the stay was terrible.

Expected Much Better
Hotels.com details include text that the hotel had limited housekeeping, yet the hotel was advertised as a four-star hotel and hence one would assume daily room cleaning in line also with the German star classification standard. Apart from this reception failed to inform us at check-in that room cleaning and towel changes would only be provided at an additional charge. The room allocated needs refurbishment, especially the carpets which were stained in various places. (Carpets in the corridors were similarly stained). The Room should have had a mini fridge which was missing. A gate to a road at the back of the property which would have been a convenient way to walk to the center of Partenkirchen was locked (probably for security reasons). Yet a notice on the padlocked gate said it was to be used in case of a fire.

Clean and very roomy. But dated, matress old and uncomfortable. Was probably a wonderful place 20 years ago, nice now but needs an update. Great for large family groups, and in a great location for Zugspitze.

This was a great location for winter sports. We were there in June and the lack of air conditioning was a little uncomfortable but tolerable; I did not notice a lack of AC when a booked this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, it is convenient to dining and grocery shopping for an extended stay. Their dining room had good food and service but was expensive. Parking was convenient..

Beautiful apartment/rooms, incredible views of the mountains, great facility-very close to many attractions. Walkable to downtown restaurants. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect home base for our Garmisch adventures. Loved every minute of our stay!

Very old property and Expedia messed up our booking too. Had 3 rooms booked but the hotel had only 2 rooms. They managed to give us the 3rd room finally but it was a different type. Carpets were dirty, musty smelling and no A/C or fans were provided. Towels were missing, lots of other small issues that we ran into.
