Nice property - a little more interaction with guests would have been nice. Property could do with some more things to do. A complimentary breakfast or as an optional extra would be great as the place is in no mans land and no places to grab a bite close by!

not far from the freeway ,easy to find. Nice quiet location. plenty of room in the unit. big lounge room to relax in. spacious kitchen with all utensils if you wanted to do your own cooking. Only downside is there are no local shops, pubs or cafes. nearest is Rutherglen, about 15kms.

Great, unique property on a big block of land, with a peacock, geese, ducks and chickens. Good photo opportunities with a lot of rustic equipment around. Unit was well appointed, lots of room, heating and cooling, electric blankets and lots of charming little extra touches. Very homely and peaceful.

Accommodation was comfortable and clean. The site has a lot going on with Geese and Peacocks roaming the property to give you something different to experience. The location is out of the major towns but an easy drive to all the major tourist points and other essentials.

Nanna cottage
Cute but very dated. Expected to stay in the butter factory, not the 70s flat out the back. It was comfortable enough though, and the owners were very helpful.

Good location - close to the Hume Highway. Rooms were clean and tidy, beds comfortable and everything needed for the night provided. Owners were very helpful and accommodating.

Rustic Country Charm
Luckily, we couldn't get a booking in Rutherglen. So we discovered this gorgeous property about 20 minutes south in Springhurst. It's a little thrilling to be greeted by peacocks, ducks and geese at your front door in the morning. This charming converted historic butter factory has real character. Your standard boring motel room, this is not. Highly recommended!

Rural retreat
We thought the accomodation was lovely. Big enough for a family to stay. Well equiped kitchen and large living area. Nice and quiet location. A little travel out of town, however just off the highway. Great for travellers looking to stay for a night or anybody wanting to get away from the big smoke. Nothing much for the kids to do though. Suited our needs. Quaint little spot.

perfect for a family with young children
lovely good sized unit, with board games for the kids, plenty of space to run around outside and meet the resident peacock, geese, budgies and chickens!
