Our experience at this property was a mix bag. Good things, mostly friendly staff, the property is clean, three pool so it seems less crowded during high season and direct access to the beach (their dedicated shower area have hot water).
The cons: while the patrons are mixed, it is mostly Germans. We went during the World Cup and the bar manager defended his position on why the games are played on German language, instead of Spanish or English. Further suggested that we move to a smaller community room (but we were there first).
The breakfast buffet isn’t as good as the dinner. And the food overall is 6.5-7/10, depending on your palate exposure. They do shut everything down 15 minutes before closing so don’t bank on showing up last minute.
This is a dated property, out of one of the staff’s mouth, “all the buildings are old”. While it’s not as bad as it sounds, do expected somewhat dated furniture. If you do not like your room, change immediately. We had a suite facing the parking lot and they charged us a 50 Euro cleaning fee.
This place is approximately an hour away from the airport. The taxi fair is NYC pricing and we had a party of 8, a van costed $180-250 one way depending on who you book with. For reasons unknown to me, the hotel staff never shared that the bus stop which is right in front of the property has direct public bus access to Palma (bus number 302) and airport for 9 Euros pp.
Overall, I give it a 6/10 compared to all the other resort I have stayed.
