    • 2.0.Poor

No regard for staff or customers. No physical barrier at check in office and staff without masks. Felt sorry for the Young staff. Motel itself was below a one star if that’s possible. Bed beyond uncomfortable, due to experience at check in not sure how well the room was cleaned. Musty smell in the room. $100 doesn’t get you much these days.

      Villager Inn

TV did not work and was replaced, electronic lock was tricky to open, had to be open for me on one occasion and owners who sometimes staff English is very poor and can not communicate, difficult to understand though they are very polite.

The bed is rock hard. It would have been softer on the floor. We were in room 114 and in the room above us sounded like a dance party going on until 1am. It was continuous stomping. The continental breakfast wast very good. Lots of tasty food available.

Staff is friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was a nice addition and the price is very good. The location is great with easy access to walk around and Princeton is a good base camp for the many great natural beauties surrounding. Wifi barely worked and needed to have the manager reboot it often. Loud drunks drinking to the early hours. This place is in dire need of a renovation. The pool has no water in it. We were on the first floor and the bathroom had a terrible methane gas smell so the plumbing needs a lot of work. The showers are borderline scary to get in with the mouldy chaulking and the hot water is unpredictable turning hot to cold for no reason.

Comfortable beds! Will definitely stay again!

The girls who run front desk/house keeping are really nice and responsive. I only stayed a night so the issues I came across were the bathtub was draining really slowly while in the shower. And upon grabbing my towel, the towel rack came undone. Not a big deal. I told one of the girls who was cleaning the room next door. She promptly got the plunger and drain cleaner to fix it and also addressed the towel rack issue. The room was very clean, air conditioning worked and the bed is so comfortable! I wasn't expecting it from an older Motel. It's more comfortable than other more expensive hotels. Also upon checkin, I was told to not keep the room key together with your cell phone or credit cards unless I want to visit the front desk again ;) The keys are not RFID, they are the older technology magnetic strip cards. Most other hotels never remind me about it and I've killed many of my keys with my cell phone. I recommend staying here. It's clean and the beds are nice to sleep on.
