Worth the drive .
The lobby and room entranced where beautiful. The restaurant... although staff were good lacked the same wow factor in regard to the stunning native theme. The restaurant had a sports bar theme.
Overall a good stay. Oh ya the pillows were awful being huge and uncomfortable.
Cheers Scott.

Comfy Location
A very comfortable hotel, with good comfy beds. We checked in after 4pm and our rooms(2) were not ready, we waited in the bar/restaurant area and had a drink for around 30 minutes before being able to get our rooms. We had a meal in the restaurant, which was very busy, and the service was quite slow. The food could only be described as mediocre.

Great option in Port Hardy
We were just in for a quick overnight but the hotel is very nice, very new, well appointed and comfortable. AC worked well but sounded like a jet engine. Shower stall did not empty, had to manually plunge it to avoid a flood. Fridge did not have a freezer which is always nice. No one around when we checked in and could not be found so we just went and had dinner at the restaurant which was good. When I checked in later it went extremely fast - impressive. Minor issues overall - I would recommend this hotel and was reasonably priced.

Our experience with the Kwalilas Hotel was amazing! We were travelling with a lot of friends and family and everyone had the best experience. Our room was huge! Super comfortable and nice. The hotel is very modern and the staff super friendly and accommodating.
The food and service at the Pub was not great but the convenience of having a Pub/restaurant on site was nice.
