We've stayed at the Boat Ramp Motel a few times. The rooms are always spotless and the staff always friendly. There is a kettle and toaster in the room, some crockery and cutlery to use and the fridge has a small freezer. WiFi is available. All basic needs are catered for. We haven't used the pool but it looks very nice.

We arrived late and the manager had our room ready and the heater on. At 1am it was the best thing in the world. No amount of stars show the appreciation for good hospitality. He was up early to help us get sorted in the morning.

The booking system was abysmal and far from user friendly. No one in attendance upon arrival. Happily, a total foul up was averted by the owner/manager via phone who was very pleasant and obliging and sorted the electronic mess with the booking.

Outdated. Freezer iced up. No fridge door holders. Cobwebs Dusty corners. Shower facility dangerous for older people. Bathroom fan noisy. Not a pleasant outlook. Okay perhaps for overnight stay but not for long term. We left after 2 days. A bit depressing.

We booked the wrong dates, rang the property within 2 minutes of booking, the owner would not allow us to change our dates as this was policy. "Too bad, he said" He clearly didn't care one bit. I don't see how it could have been any bother to him to accommodate us at another time. Very Poor.
