Several good restaurants near the hotel. If you intend to tour the island, consider hiring a car as taxis were expensive to the international airport and to other tourist attractions. Driving on St.Lucia is quite an experience.

Many nice restaurants in the area. Garden Bay resort access is very nice and so is the nearby Rodney Bay Marina. All of which offer wonderful restaurants, wonderful views, etc..

Fruit is generally grown locally in St Lucia, not so seasonal, and therefore some may not always be available. The island is also not very sugar-free or gluten-free friendly.

"I love the property and all the amenities. I just don’t like the outlets in the room. There is only 1 115volt plug in the room. You’ll have to ask for plug adapter at the front desk. "
"If you’re looking for a quiet space to recover from a busy day Sol Sanctum is a perfect choice. It is walkable to the beach, restaurants/bars and shopping. I especially appreciated the night time attendant who was so kind when I needed things (ice, first aid kit) even though it was late. I started looking forward to his friendly smile when i returned each night. I would stay here again and recommend. "

"The property is beautiful and well kept. The room was very clean and comfy... the only issue I had was that the television wouldn't play any channels.... I called several times for them to fix the issue... and it was not fixed until late morning... had to wait for IT to come in. "

"Enjoyed our stay at the calabash resort, we stayed in the cottages and really loved the privacy and quietness of the property. The beach was very quiet and we enjoyed utilizing the kayaks provided. The overall property was very well maintained. The food was very good we really enjoyed the daily chef specials at the restaurant the service was also very good. This was our first time in st Lucia and we didn’t leave the resort however I would highly recommend this resort if you are looking for a very relaxed setting. "
