Where to start: a great hotel in decline, gradually and slowly falling apart. The hygiene at this hotel is shameful—dirty dishes, dirty glasses, hallway carpets smell of dampness, and the grime is evident. It's disappointing considering the price charged per night. You arrive at the beach club and they don’t provide towels; you have to go back to the hotel, and they still don’t give you towels—you have to go all the way up to your room to get them because they’re limited. It’s embarrassing how poor the customer service is, not to mention the rude behavior and apathy of the staff. We went to eat at the restaurant, and my chicken was undercooked. Despite the high food prices, the lack of quality is terrible. At breakfast, by 8 a.m., there were no bagels left, even though it’s a $30 breakfast per person. The beach is a paradise, but this is one of the worst Hiltons I’ve been to.
