Excellent stay, food and drink WAY too Expensive!
The resort was amazing and clean. The weather was perfect. The water park was clean and well maintained with little to no wait in slide lines. The food however was extremely too expensive and to be forced to pay for water at restaurants at the resort is absurd. The price of food would be the only thing keeping me from returning, we have a family of 4.

Great resort, OK hotel
Great resort facilities - shops, restaurants, bars, activities, pools etc Hotel itself - very busy so service was sometimes a little slow but understandable. Stay in the East tower - the west tower room we were originally allocated was dated and not as large (smaller bathroom, no tub, only one sink) Housekeeping was a little lacking - there were items from a previous guest in our room (including an old bagel!) and only one service a day - would have expected a turn down service. Cleaners often left dirty cloths in the sink. Overall, great resort (albeit a bit pricey but you know that going in). However, and maybe it was just peak period, hotel is closer to 3.5-4 star property rather than a 5 star property.

Baha Mar is well above par!!!
Accommodations were beautiful and I received a free upgrade. Hotels.com paid my taxes since I booked through the app. Food, Beverage and entertainment were all top notch! Make no mistake, it’s expensive but a very worthwhile investment!

We had incredibly disappointing experiences with housekeeping (HK) during our 4 days stay there. The HK staff did not clean our room 3 out of 4 nights and we had to call the front desk every morning for clean coffee cups so we could have morning coffee in the room. They would send it up 2 hours later. On the 1 day, they did clean the room was when we had to flag another staff walking the hallway and tip them $20 to clean our room. The front desk wasn't too helpful in this matter either. Besides housekeeping, the property is nice but they have inflated the prices too high for the value of food and drinks served there. They don't have options just outside the hotel or within walkable distance either. You would have to catch a taxi for a $30 minimum 1 way. So, they have set it up in a way that you spend most of your time and money at the resort with its high prices instead of venturing out.
