This is our second time staying at this hotel. We had a good experience the first time and decided to go back. However, this second stay was a huge let down. I will start with the good, the breakfast is above average including some interesting hot items, not the standard scramble eggs and the underground parking is very convenient. Now the bad, check in was super slow even though we arrived after their check in time, the pool is good but the hot tub was broken, the room size is good but we went out of the way to book a suite just to find out all their suites faces a noisy road, better off to book a standard room (we stayed in one last time and size is alright). The room was not clean very well, the sofa bed as so dusty that my son had a allergy reaction in the middle of the night. Our mattress probably was in it's last leg, ever toss and turn comes with loud squeaking, and the toss and turn was unavoidable since their pillows was so bad that we could get comfortable. It's is a shame since we had a good stay last time but it seems to have been mismanaged and a bit run down. Probably have to look for a different hotel next time.

    Very good 8.0
Beautiful suite. Very clean and modern. Comfortable. Cons: parking is very tight. One night we couldn’t find parking in both underground lots or the above ground parking— hotel staff told us to park illegally in a non-spot in front of the hotel 😬. We had good luck finding seating during breakfast, but it was challenging for many people. Suggestion: if trays were provided, some people might choose to take their breakfast up to their Also, during check-in, the front desk staff rattled off a great deal of information that I only caught half of. I assumed that it would be in the room in one of those books about the hotel’s policies/amenities...but there was no such book. It’s a lot of info to take in, please provide it in writing in some way to your guests. Lastly, when we booked the room we asked that the pull out bed be made up for our son. Not only was this not done prior to our arrival, but we were handed linens to do this ourselves. This is something that staff should offer to do for you.

What A Wonderful Stay at Element Hotel
I booked a 1 king bed with sofa bed coz that’s the only available room at When we went there to check-in, I realized that I forgot my ID. So I told the receptionists I don’t have any ID with me. The receptionist told me that yes they need an ID in order for me to check in. I only had my health card with me. I’m not gonna go back to Saskatchewan just to provide an ID. But the receptionist is so nice and he said that my health card is ok. Also, he upgrade us to 2 queen beds and put as on the 7th floor which we prefer as we really needed it coz there’s 4 of us who will stay in the room. And on top of that, he allow us to early check in as we were so tired from an 8 hour driving. When we go and enter our room, we were so amazed as the 2 queen bed suites are soooo beautiful. Very big and spacious. Complete with stove, dishwasher and some utensils that you can use(but you have to pay if you want to use them). But over all we were so impressed. The view were amazing. The pool and the gym are a bonus. The hotel itself are so clean and very convenient since Tim’s, McDonald’s, restaurants and liquor store are walking distance. And food chain, superstore and newly open Asian grocery store is just a 5 minute drive from the hotel. The downside are the breakfast and the breakfast room. The food are ok nothing fancy. Always egg, would be nice if there’s at least a sausage or bacon. The room is so small, you will force to eat in the lobby. But overall our stay was fantastic!!!

    Fantastic place to relax
Our room was great! Huge windows, comfy beds, rain shower head, full kitchen with dishwasher and full size fridge. Sad we could only stay one night. Breakfast was amazing, far more than the usual hotel breakfast, and plenty of seating. Parking sucks, we were back to the hotel early and there were only a couple really tight spots left in underground parking. Overall, it’s on my list of places to stay next time.

    Very good 8.0
Pros: cleanliness, size of room, bed, quiet, breakfast, shower Cons: we chose the property on the basis of free parking and yes there was a parking pass provided but there was no parking available underground or above ground. For 2 people there were few towels and only one pr of slippers no bathrobes. The in room coffee is tasteless
