The staff working at the front desk are all very nice and helpful. Love talking to them all. The breakfast overall is good, and the pool is nice and clean. We also rented the canoe from the staff and had a great time.

A great hotel with eager staff. We had a family room which was excellent value for money and we organised a brilliant snorkelling excursion through reception. The pool is a real highlight - 40 metres long, warm and not too shallow. Whilst we couldn’t access the beach directly from the hotel it was a short walk to Kai Bae beach which is beautiful. There was a lot of removing on during our stay as it was the wet season but it didn’t bother us a bit and meant the hotel was quiet and the service excellent. We definitely return next time we visit Koh Chang.

Amazing stay
Very nice hotel with a very chill atmosphere. They will do everything to make your stay pleasant. We stayed here several times along the years. We got an upgrade and stayed in an amazing suite with beach view. It was very convenient with our small kids - and the room was so beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

My stay at the AWA was wonderful. We had a room overlooking the beach with beautiful view. Hotel has a great pool and beach space. Spa is top notch, best Thai massage overlooking the ocean. We were surprised by a nice NYE party, as not all hotels in the island offer one. We were overall very pleased with our stay.

The design of this hotel is like something from Grand Designs, high ceilings and walls all pointing towards the lovely pool and beach area to watch the great sunsets. However, rooms are a little tired and dated, all the metal balcony railing were corroded, and there was a musty smell in our room.

We visited with our 2 children aged 2 and 7 months, initially for 1 week. The rooms are big and well kept, the swimming pool is huge and the added bonus of a children's play area which was air conditioned. Breakfast was fine, typical of most 4 star hotels in Thailand. The staff were great and really made our stay memorable; especially Katie, Wanisa, Jenny. We loved our stay here, so much so we extended for an additional 4 nights. We look forward to returning in future.

A lovely hotel with much more potential! We had a lovely stay however, we sadly could tell the hotel could do with some TLC. Sadly after 2 years of covid, the hotel needs some work but a beautiful hotel overall.
